One of the obvious signs of a booming economy here in Coushatta is that the Town of Coushatta has embarked on a town beautification drive.
Major intersections have received the most obvious public improvement with gardens and landscaping. The 4 way stop near the bridge over the Red River has been treated to the new sign and lighted landscaped area. It looks great at night and is a nice welcome for those crossing the bridge from the west. Along with the building of the new Motel and cleaning up of old businesses we are certainly seeing improvement all around Coushatta.
