Currently moving into Coushatta are lots of Gas and Oil companies. These include Encana Chesapeake Shell and more. The Haynesville Shale Gas field is very big news here. Lots of people have made lots of money from Lease Signing and are now anticipating plenty of "mailbox money" when the leases are drilled and production is under way. Good luck to all its good for the whole town of Coushatta and red River Parish in a variety of ways as it boosts the economy. Jobs are being created directly in Well servicing and other such related services. Also directly through extra dollars spent in merchants in Red River Parish. The economy is "tanking" elsewhere and Booming in RRP.
